The Tyrolit Group is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of grinding and dressing tools, as well as a system provider for the construction industry. With over 4.500 employees and more than 30 international production sites, products from Tyrolit are available in more than 140 countries worldwide.
Initial situation
The Tyrolit Group's website no longer met current requirements in terms of technology, navigation and visual presentation.
A clearly defined visual form of expression, the integration of numerous new elements and the greatest possible flexibility in terms of extensions and technical future-proofing were therefore the focus of the project tender.
Development of a new UX/UI design that reflects the current corporate branding of the Tyrolit Group.

Microsites and landing pages should be able to be created and maintained by editors directly in a CMS.
Translations should be able to be carried out natively in the CMS.

In close coordination with Tyrolit, Bright IT developed a new UX/UI design and implemented a cutting-edge corporate website based on Storyblok as a Headless CMS:
A modern and expandable design system based on the current Tyrolit Group branding.
Switch to Storyblok for massively improved usability—and a complete separation of content and technology.
Modular page types and components that can be easily and flexibly combined to create state-of-the-art digital content.
Microsites and landing pages can now be created directly by editors.
The image material no longer needs to be manually adjusted—image sizes and focal areas (cropping) are now completely automated based on specific use cases.
A flexible localization model that enables different language combinations depending on specific use case.
Modern front-end technologies that allow truly seamless integration of third-party systems (e.g. job feed in the careers section).
A flexible URL structure based on the content structure, which ensures ideal visibility in search engines.
Switch to cloud hosting for tightened security and lightning-fast loading times.
